Pieter MOOLMAN (Meuleman), van Biervliet in Nederland, het in 1743 in diens van die H.O.I.K. in Suid-Afrika aangekom. Hy het hom later as burger te Stellen-bosch gevestig. Op 17 November 1748 het hy in die huwelik getree met Catharina Elisabeth SWART. Daar is vyf kinders uit die huwelik gebore: (1)Johannes Zacharias (1749), burger te Stellenbosch en getroud 23.2.1777 metEngela Magdalena WESSELS; hertroud 19.3.1780 met Anna FOURIE, die weduwee van Jurgen Johannes GILDENHUIJZEN; 7 kinders.
