of Willem van Wijk d'oude, 1771-72 and her own Estate Accounts
of 1744.

There is no baptism extant for her. The only indication of when
she was born are the two lists of her children drawn up by
Cornelia Helmes in her wills of 1713 and 1720. In the earlier the
age of Maria is given as 9, which would suggest she was born
around 1704 which is what I have used here. On this list, however,
the ages of the sister listed before her and the brother after,
would seem to be wrong (although those of the other children
agree with their dates of baptism) we can only hope that her
age was listed correctly.
